Deposit, Payment & Cancellation Policy. The following policies and procedures approved by Gumala Tourism apply to all bookings for the Karijini Eco Retreat (Eco Tents and Campsites) made by telephone, e-mail and via the web. The WA School Holiday/Long Weekend terms and conditions apply to all reservations staying during the following event periods and are inclusive
Booking Terms & Conditions Policy for WA School Holiday/Long Weekend Dates
• Minimum stay of 2 nights will apply We reserve the right to cancel the booking if we are unable to collect payment. Guest Cancellations
Cancellations MUST be made in writing to reservations@karijiniecoretreat.com.au from the original e-mail address used at the time of booking (refer to booking confirmation). Policy for WA School Holiday/Long Weekend Dates Guests advising cancellations:
• 42 days or more prior to the booked arrival date will be entitled to a full refund of deposit monies paid Policy for Non WA School Holiday/Long Weekend Dates
• Minimum stay of 1 night We reserve the right to cancel the booking if we are unable to collect payment.
Cancellations MUST be made in writing to reservations@karijiniecoretreat.com.au from the original e-mail address used at the time of booking (refer to booking confirmation). Policy for Non WA School Holiday/Long Weekend Dates Guests advising cancellations: • 42 days or more prior to the booked arrival date will be entitled to a full refund of deposit monies paid. • Less than 42 days out but more than 7 days prior to the booked arrival date will be charged an admin fee of $40 per booking (or part booking) and the balance of the funds held will be refunded. • 7 days or less prior to the booked arrival date will be charged a one night accommodation fee (but no other fees will be charged) and the balance of funds held will be refunded (if any).
Guest Cancellations
Cancellations MUST be made in writing to reservations@karijiniecoretreat.com.au from the original e-mail address used at the time of booking (refer to booking confirmation). Policy for low season period (1st November to 31st March) Guests advising cancellations: 7 days or less prior to the booked arrival date will be charged a one night accommodation package fee (but no other fees will be charged) and the balance of funds held will be refunded (if any).
Early departure/cancellations beyond Guest control Circumstances beyond Guest control i.e. weather/road closures/bush fire/infrastructure problems because of remote operation etc: In the event that guests need to depart because we have to make them leave for some reason beyond the guests control or if they cannot get in due to road closures etc. then they will only be charged for what they have consumed (if anything) i.e. accommodation charges for the nights they have stayed, food, beverages and kiosk sales. Please note that road/park closures must be verified by us and you must contact us to confirm the same prior to any refund being made. Any cancellations must be made directly with us and not with a third party. A refund of unused nights paid for in advance will then be given and no administration fee will be charged.
Policy for WA School Holiday/Long Weekend Dates Should guests wish to leave early through their own choice they will:

Please note that charges will be made for any cancelled nights/guests in line with the above policies.
