Our cosy accommodation at the Karijini Eco Retreat, suited to couples, groups and families. They are small but big on value! The Eco Cabins offer basic, comfortable accommodation for adventure-filled days exploring the many stunning sights within the Karijini National Park, Western Australia.
These compact cabins are in pods of 2 and feature a small fan, individual lockers, reading lights and a shared outdoor seating area connecting the 2 cabins. Large windows offer stunning vistas towards Joffre Gorge.
Guests staying in the Eco Cabins have the use of shared ablutions including flushing toilets, solar hot water showers and basins.
The Eco Cabin King/Twins can sleep maximum 2 people.
Eco Cabin King/Twin Features:
- Compact hard walled accommodation with large windows and bush views
- Choice of 1 zip king bed or 2 single beds
- Quality bedding, pillows and linen
- Bath towels
- Shared bathroom facilities - flushing toilets and solar hot water showers
- Limited solar power - reading lights, small fan and 12 voltage power outlet (socket compatible with a car cigarette lighter charger)
- Individual lockers (bring your own padlocks or buy at reception)
- Shared decked seating area with table and chairs
Rooms are unserviced. Guests staying in the Eco Cabins are required to make up their beds.
Solar hot water temperature is supplied by the sun and can be affected by weather conditions.
Eco-Friendly Design:
- The Retreat runs on solar power and utilises backup generators when required. Power is limited in the Eco Tents and Eco Cabins to conserve energy and allows guests to switch off and slip into relaxation in the peaceful surrounds. Our hybrid system saves approximately 200 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year
- Natural ventilation (no air-conditioning)
- Eco Cabin floors are made from recycled timber
- Low-flow showerheads and spring loaded taps in the shared bathrooms to help conserve water
- Environmentally friendly wastewater plant that enables us to use the grey water to rejuvenate our native bushland
- Recycled toilet paper
- Soap cut to a certain size in order to minimise waste
- Use of natural, non toxic cleaning products that won't harm the environment
**To book a private pod of 2 joined cabins (for families or groups up to 6 guests), select 1 king/twin cabin and 1 triple/quad cabin. Prices are per cabin per night, i.e. select 2 and the price will be doubled.**
