West Oz Active is an adventure tour company based at, and working in conjunction with the Eco Retreat in Karijini National Park.  West Oz active is designed for guests who are after a hands on adventure.

Our tours include activities such as climbing, hiking, abseiling, waterslides, swimming, jumping and floating through the gorges on inflatable rafts.  All of our trips take you through the class 6 sections of gorges which other operators and the general public cannot access. 

We offer a range of daytrips, which include all equipment, such as watershoes, harnesses, helmets, wetsuits and include morning tea and lunch.  Our walks include five of the most spectacular gorges of the park; Hancock, Weano, Joffre, Reg and Knox.  Abseiling and adventure experience is not needed, as we teach you all you need to know, but a good level of fitness and health is required. We operate every day between April and November, depending on the weather.  Our trips take a minimum of two and maximum of eight people ensuring that you have a small group allowing all experiences to be quick, fun and safe.

West Oz Active is run by Dan Francis, a tour guide with more than 7 years of experience in this region, who is working in conjunction with the National Park rangers to fill a gap in the market for adventure tours that are run professionally and safely. At the end of our tours you will be exhausted from a big day of adventure but as we sit down to see the photo slideshow of the day with a cold or hot drink to suit your needs, you will feel extremely satisfied, knowing you are one of very few people to ever experience the depths of these magnificent gorges.
